What is Alopecia Senilis

The technical term used to describe the abnormal or immoderate loss of hair on the human head is Alopecia. Androgenetic alopecia is basically based on hereditary condition in which both men and women are affected by this hair loss problem.

Medical scrutiny has identified several or various types of  Hair Loss conditions like the Alopecia areata which is the sudden loss of hair in specific circular spots or patches. It has been thought that this kind of hair loss is caused by illnesses such as syphilis, thyroid fever, anemia or a thyroid disease. Men and women can be irked by this hair loss problem and even young innocent children are as well affected and in much older people they can suffer a more distinct classification of hair loss which is the Alopecia Senilis.

Alopecia senilis are known to be in occurrence in older people or this condition can occur due to old age in certain people. This type of hair loss is proven to be permanent. Hair loss experts or medical doctors have stated that alopecia senilis is caused by the slowing or delaying metabolism and a poor and inconsistent supply of essential nutrients to the hair follicles.

Nutrition is basically the key to hinder and halt alopecia senilis because healthy hair needs the right supply of vitamins, nutrients, oxygen and hormones to the germinal papilla. So having said all that, older people should consider taking extra careful in consuming their daily food intake, to take adequate consumption of healthy and nutritious foods like salmon, lean meant, green leafy vegetables and many others. Generally speaking, nutrition is indeed the primary reason why we keep our hair on our head and it is definitely worthy to take correct actions and to be diligent in practicing good and beneficial nutritional daily consumption.
